Individual Home Based Classes

Alternatively if you have difficulties travelling to the designated venue or prefer a more focused program and one that is tailored for your home environment, we also offer Individual Home Based classes.

The Home Based Program consists of 3 sessions of about 2 hours each time and is structured to maximize results by optimally spreading out the sessions. Typically the 2nd session is about 3-4 weeks after the first, when the results from the 1st session start to take effect and stabilize.

While there may seem to be a long period in between sessions, we will track Progress Indicators weekly set during the 1st session to assess how your dog is responding and how well the program is put in place.

The 3rd session is about 1 month after the 2nd and by then, most, if not all issues would have been resolved and managed. The syllabus is similar to the Group Class minus the socialization aspect.

This program is very effective and efficient because there is one on one focus on resolving all the issues faced by you, and your dog will behave in his natural state, making the assessment and solutions more accurate.

Also In situations where your dog is nervous or excited outside, such that he may not be able to focus, the Home Based Program is ideal, with the option to join a Group Class later at a discounted rate

* Refers to a dog that has passed thru ASD’s rescue and rehoming proocess : dog has received all medical procedures under ASD, placed in ASD’s foster homes or facilities, and rehomed by ASD’s adoption counselors

Consultations

Our Consultation is a customised program designed to resolve your dog’s behavioural issues at the source. It consists of a 2.5 to 3 hour session conducted at your home.

Our Consultation consists of 2 aspects:

Amichien Bonding™ Program which will teach the principles to be a good leader that your dog can respect and obey. Once this has been established, most of the symptomatic behaviours will disappear. We are the only certified dog training school in Singapore to offer this program.
Puppy/Dog Home Integration Program. This covers the behavioural issues most commonly faced by owners, such as toilet training, biting, chewing, jumping, barking, whining, digging, refusal to come, aggression and much more.

At the start, our Trainer would have discussed your dog’s symptomatic behaviour over the phone or email, and because of our rich experience and expertise, we will be able to make an accurate assessment and profile of your dog.

A program will then be tailored to resolve all your dog’s behavioural issues. Progress is monitored weekly via phone, sms or email and is part of the FREE life time support that we offer.

We only advocate kind correction and positive reinforcement methods. No harsh methods are used nor any kind of gadgets.

If you have got just one or two specific issues with your dog, or would like to strengthen the bond and focus with your dog, a Consultation will be ideal for you. Follow up consultations to your home are usually not necessary unless specifically requested.

Behavioral Consultation Fees

1st Consultation (1.5 – 2 hrs) : $300

Follow Up Consultations/Support (1 – 1.5hrs) : $200
